The price of the LPG cylinder has become Rs 39.50 cheaper From today i.e. 22nd December. The price reduction is only applicable on 19 kg commercial cylinders, while there is no change in the rates of domestic cylinders.

As per the new rates, the Indane commercial cylinder will be available in Delhi for Rs 1757. Earlier the cost of a commercial cylinder was Rs 1796.50. In Kolkata, the same 19 kg cylinder now costs Rs 1868.50. Earlier it was Rs 1908. 

The cost of a 19 kg cylinder in Mumbai will be available for Rs 1710 instead of Rs 1749, the last price. From today, LPG cylinders will become cheaper by Rs 39.50 and will be sold at Rs 1929 in Chennai.

Earlier this month, the rates of commercial LPG cylinders were increased on December 1. It had witnessed a 100 rs increase in November as well. The price reduction would be a relief for businesses like hotels, restaurants, bakery shops etc. 

New LPG rate in prime cities

The new price in Delhi is Rs 1757, Previous price was Rs 1796.50
The new price in Kolkata is 1868.50, previous price was Rs 1908.00
The new price in Mumbai is Rs 1710.00, the previous price was Rs 1749.00
The new price in Chennai is Rs 1929.00, previous price was Rs 1968.50

No relief for domestic household

There is no change in the rate of the 14.2 kg LPG cylinder. On August 30, 2023, the price of domestic LPG cylinders was reduced by Rs 200. As per the new update on the website of Indian Oil, the price of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders are same as it was on August 30.

In Delhi, the price of domestic LPG is Rs 903 per cylinder, while in Kolkata it is Rs 929 and in Mumbai, it is Rs 902.50. In Chennai, it is available at the rate of Rs 918.50 per cylinder.
