Google Down:  Google users worldwide experienced difficulties accessing the search engine due to a widespread outage. Reports on Downdetector, which collects status updates from various sources, pointed to some issues with multiple Google services, including Google Search. In the United Kingdom, over 300 users reported that they faced problems while trying to use Google. Similarly, over 1400 people encountered problems with Google in the United States. Many users across New York, Denver, Colorado, and Seattle complained of facing issues with the service.

However, services such as Gmail, YouTube, Google Maps and Google Talk seemed to be working fine for some users, nearly 100 users in the US have reported facing problems with Google Maps, according to Downdetector.

"The Google is down. Major outages affecting thousands of users have been reported in the US, the UK, Australia and parts of Europe and Asia," A user wrote on social media platform X.

 

On social media, users started sharing their struggles with accessing Google, with one person posting on X (formerly Twitter), "Google down." They also shared a screenshot showing an error page popping up while attempting to use the search engine.

“502. That's an error. The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request. Please try again in 30 seconds. That's all we know,” the error message showed as reported by the TOI.
