Hathway Cable & Datacom Ltd., which provides cable and internet services, reported on Wednesday an 18.1 percent decline in consolidated net profit for the June quarter to Rs. 18.32 crore. According to a regulatory filing by Hathway Cable, a firm owned by the Reliance Industries Group, the company had posted a net profit of Rs. 22.36 crore in the April-June period a year ago.

Its total revenue remained flat at Rs. 502.61 crore in the June quarter. It was at Rs. 499.23 crore in the corresponding period a year ago. During the quarter, its revenue from the Cable TV business was at Rs. 336.14 crore, and Rs. 151.19 crores from broadband services in the June quarter of FY25.

Hathway Cable's total income, which includes other income, declined by 1.69 percent to Rs. 524.36 crore in the June quarter. Total expenses of Hathway Cable decreased by 2 percent to Rs. 503.14 crore.

LTIMindtree Q1 Result

Information technology services company LTIMindtree on Wednesday reported a 1.5 percent decline in net profit to Rs 1,135 crore for the June quarter, mainly due to lower profit margins.  Its revenues grew 5.1 percent year-on-year to Rs 9,142.6 crore, but the operating profit margin narrowed to 15 percent from 16.7 percent in the year-ago period.

The company continues to aspire to achieve the operating profit margin target of 17-18 percent, which was shared at the time of amalgamation, its MD and chief executive Debashis Chatterjee said, adding that it would take longer to reach that figure.
