HDFC Bank Virtual Credit Card:  The country's largest private bank, HDFC Bank, has launched its first virtual credit card, PIXEL in collaboration with Visa. HDFC's virtual credit card is available in two variants - PIXEL Play and PIXEL Go. Customers can select the card of their choice considering offers and benefits.

Customers can register their card on the bank's PayZapp application which can also be managed digitally. In a statement issued by the bank, it has been stated that through the PayZap application, credit card users can avail of facilities such as card control, rewards, EMI dashboards, notifications, statements, repayment, disputes, hotlisting, and so on.

The bank said that the facility of swipe and tap payment is also available on the digital credit card. Parag Rao, Country Head of Consumer Finance-Payments (Digital Banking and Technology) at HDFC Bank said that currently this card has been launched in collaboration with Visa and later it will be launched with other networks too.

In January 2024, HDFC Bank became the first bank to cross the 2 crore credit card mark. The bank started its credit card business in 2001 and crossed the Rs 1 crore mark in 2017. The bank doubled this figure in six years.
