Hindustan Unilever Share Price: Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) shares tanked over 4% during intraday trade on Thursday after the FMCG major reported a 3.35 per cent decline in its consolidated net profit to Rs 2,475 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2025. It had posted a net profit of Rs 2,561 crore in the January-March quarter last year.
At around 11:43 am, Hindustan Unilever shares were trading at Rs 2,327.20, down 3.99%. The scrip started trade flat at the previous session's closing price of Rs 2,423.80, however, it fell over 4% in the early hours to hit an intraday low at Rs 2,317.10 after the company declared the results for Q4.

FMCG major Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) posted a decline of 3.35 per cent in its consolidated net profit at Rs 2,475 crore for the fourth quarter, i.e. January-March quarter, 2025. The company had logged a net profit of Rs 2,561 crore in the January-March quarter a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing.
However, revenue from product sales stood at Rs 15,416 crore in the March quarter, led by volume growth, which was 2.68 per cent higher than Rs 15,013 crore in the same period last year. However, EBITDA margin was down 30 bps year-on-year at 23.1 per cent.
HUL's total expenses rose 3.12 per cent to Rs 12,478 crore in the March quarter, while total income, including other income, grew 3.48 per cent to Rs 15,979 crore. HUL's net profit grew 3.78 per cent to Rs 10,671 crore in the financial year ended March 31, 2025. It was Rs 10,282 crore in FY 2024. The company's total income grew 2.28 per cent to Rs 64,138 crore in FY 2025, while it was Rs 62,707 crore last year.
HUL declared a final dividend of Rs 24 per equity share (with a face value of Rs 1). Thus, the total dividend payment of HUL for FY 2024-25 has become Rs 53 per share, which includes an interim dividend of Rs 19 and a special dividend of Rs 10.
