The International Advertising Association (IAA), on Thursday, awarded Ramesh Narayan with the IAA Global North Star Medal for Distinguished Service to the IAA and the global Marcom industry. Abhishek Karnani, Vice President of the India Chapter of the IAA and Khushboo Sundar presented the distinguished award to Narayan in the 'Voice of Change' event held in Mumbai.

Narayan, a well-known entrepreneur with companies such as Canco Advertising Pvt. Ltd. under his hood, is a recipient of several other prestigious awards in the marketing communications space. Currently serving as the Director of Strategy of the Asian Federation of Advertising Associations (AFAA), he was honoured as Global Champion by the IAA at its inaugural Inspire Awards in London in 2014.
IAA stands out as the sole globally oriented integrated advertising trade association, boasting a membership that encompasses advertising agencies and the media. Its diverse composition includes corporate members, organisational members, educational affiliates, and 56 Chapters with individual members and young professionals hailing from 76 countries, including the top 10 economies worldwide. With a history spanning over 80 years, IAA is headquartered in New York.
