What is Bhoo Aadhaar?

All lands in rural areas will come under Bhoo-Aadhaar, it will be assigned a 14-digit unique identification number. In this process, mapping, survey, ownership, and registration of farmers will be done along with the identification number of the land. This will make it easier to get agricultural loans. Apart from this, they will also be able to get other agricultural facilities easily. On the other hand, land records of lands in urban areas will be digitized with GIS mapping.

How does Bhoo Aadhaar work?

In this, the land is first geotagged with the help of GPS technology. After this, the surveyors physically verify and measure the boundary of the land. After doing this, the record that is collected is entered into the land record management system. After this, the system automatically generates a 14-digit Bhu Aadhaar number for the land plot. This Bhu Aadhaar number is linked to the digital record.
