MCX Silver: After having a great rally this week, the bullion prices fell significantly on Thursday amid signs of ease in global tensions after US President Donald Trump said he would not be imposing tariff on European nations opposing his stance on Greenland.
The Silver futures contract fell nearly 13 thousand in early trade to hit the day's low of Rs 3,05,753 per kilogram on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) against last session's closing of 3,18,492. While the Gold futures contract price dipped nearly four thousand to the day's low of Rs 1,48,777 per 10 grams against last day's closing of Rs 1,52,862 in early trade.
At around 10:32 Am, MCX Gold (February 5 Expiry) was trading at Rs 1,49,813, down Rs 3,049 or 1.99 per cent. At the same time, MCX Silver (March 5 Expiry) was at Rs 310253.00, falling Rs 8,239 or2.59 per cent.
"MCX Gold is maintaining a strong bullish structure with higher-high, higher-low formations within a rising channel. After testing highs around Rs 1,58,000+, prices have seen a mild correction on profit-booking but continue to hold firmly above key supports," said Ponmudi R, CEO of Enrich Money.
Gold, Silver Prices In International Market
The Gold traded down in the international market in early trade. At the time of writing, Comex Gold was at $4,797.20, down $40.30 or 0.83 per cent. Contrary to gold, Comex Silver was in green at $93.135, up $0.49 or 0.5 per cent.
24k, 22k Gold Rate In India Today
Gold prices eased a bit in the domestic retail market as well. The 24 karat gold rate today in India is Rs 1,51,140 per 10 grams, while the 22 karat gold price today is Rs 1,38,545 per 10 grams. At the same time 18 karat gold rate is Rs 1,13,355 per 10 grams.
