Multibagger Defence Stock: Shares of Apollo Micro Systems rose nearly 2.5 in intraday trade on Friday, post the defence sector firm received trading approval from exchanges-- BSE and NS--- for the preferential shares that were issued and allotted to the promoters and non-promoters of the company.

The multibagger stock started the session flat at Rs 253.10; however, it rose nearly 2.5 per cent to hit an intraday high of Rs 259.45 per share. Meanwhile, the scrip erased all the early gains in the afternoon after selling pressure amid broad-based selling in the market.

At around 1:56 PM, the shares were trading at Rs 248.30, down 1.9 per cent. The 52-week high and low of the shares stood at Rs 354.70 and 103.77, respectively.

New Share Listing

In a statement to the stock exchange, the company said it had received final trading approval for the new share issue, and announced the listing and acceptance of 65.69 lakh shares on the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange Limited.

"With reference to above captioned subject, we would like to inform that trading approval for 65,69,000 equity shares of Rs. 1/- each, issued and allotted on Preferential Issue basis to the Promoters and Non Promoters, has been granted by National Stock Exchange of India limited (NSE) and BSE limited (BSE) on 8th January 2026," the exchange filing said.

The shares have begun trading today, January 9, 2026.

"We are pleased to inform you that the above equity shares of the Company are listed and admitted to dealings on the Exchange from 9th January 2026," the company added.

The newly listed shares will have a nominal value of Rs 1 per share. They were issued and allocated to both founders and non-founders on a preferential basis through the conversion of convertible bonds.

The shares were issued at an issue premium of Rs 113 per share.

Share Performance

The defence stock has not started the year on a good note as it has declined over 9 per cent in the last 5 trading sessions. The scrip jumped 3 per cent in the last 30 days, and in the last 6 months it rose 30 per cent. Meanwhile, in one year it the company's shares surged over 90 per cent, and in the last 5 years, the company's stock jumped multifold over 18,00 per cent.
