Gold and silver prices rose in the domestic market on Monday, October 26, on spot demand and firm global trends, breaking multiple sessions of losing momentum. Gold futures, December expiry, jumped Rs 864 to a high of Rs 1,42,888 per 10 grams on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) as compared to the last closing of Rs 1,42,024.
Similarly, Silver futures, due to expire on December 4, escalated Rs 1,467 to a high of Rs 1,97,186 per kilogram from the last closing of Rs 1,95,719 on MCX.
Last seen, MCX gold was quoted at Rs 1,42,512 per 10 grams, up Rs 488 or 0.34 per cent. MCX Silver was trading at Rs 1,95,558, down 161 points or 0.08 per cent.

Gold, Silver Rates In International Market
Yellow White metals prices remained firm in the international futures market on October 26. Last seen, COMEX gold was trading at $4,023.10 per ounce, up $15.20 or 0.38 per cent.
Meanwhile, COMEX silver was quoted at $54.060, up $0.11 or 0.21 per cent.
“COMEX gold futures opened steady near $4,010 and rose to around $4,030, up 0.53%, after briefly slipping below the $4,000 mark before recovering. Immediate support lies in the 3,970–4,000 zone, followed by $3,900, while resistance is placed at 4,070–4,100 and then 4,170–4,200. Friday’s long lower shadow and a fresh recovery from near $4,000 today suggest buyers are defending the psychologically important level,” said Ponmudi R, CEO of Enrich Money.
24k, 22k Gold Rates In India
Gold rates for all purity levels rose in the domestic retail market as well. According to bullion.co.in, the 24-karat gold rate in India today is Rs 1,42,990 per 10 grams, while the 22-karat gold rate today is Rs 1,31,074 per 10 grams.
