NTPC Green Share Price: The shares of NTPC Green Energy extended the listing day gain on Thursday, jumping up to 5% ensuring early hours. The NTPC Green Energy Share Price soared 4.8 per cent during trading hours to hit an intraday high at Rs 127.49 per share. At around 12:30 pm, NTPC Green shares were trading at Rs 124.23, up 2.12% against the previous day's closing price. NTPC Green, The green energy arm of the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), listed on exchanges on Wednesday with merely a 3 per cent premium, however, the stock went on to hit the upper circuit, surging over 13% on the listing day.
NTPC Green Energy Listing Day Gain
November 27, NTPC Green Energy shares made a modest debut on the stock exchange this morning. NTPC shares opened at Rs 111.50 on the NSE, with a small premium of 3.2 per cent, while on the BSE, NTPC Green Energy shares closed at Rs 111.50. 60, up 3.33 percent.
After a muted debut with a premium of just 3%, shares of NTPC Green Energy climbed another 10% to hit the higher circuit during Wednesday's intraday trade. The NTPC Green stock opened trading at Rs 111.50 on the NSE, up 3.2 per cent from its IPO price of Rs 108, and soared to Rs 13.56 in the next two hours to rise to Rs 122.65 per cent or Rs. 12.15.
The IPO was open for subscription between November 19 and 22 and was subscribed 240 per cent or 2.40 times during that period. The company had set a price band of Rs 102 to Rs 108 per share for the first share sale.

NTPC Green New Project
The company's market capitalization is worth Rs 1,05,034.20 crore. NTPC Green Power is a “Maharatna” Central Public Sector Enterprise with a renewable energy portfolio including solar and wind power assets.
Meanwhile, the state-owned NTPC said its green energy arm has formed a 50:50 joint venture with Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited to develop, operate, and maintain renewable energy parks in the state.
The joint venture company will engage in the business of developing, operating, and maintaining renewable energy parks in Maharashtra under the UMREPP and will allocate parks for the development of renewable energy projects, it said.
