The latest prices of petrol and diesel have been released for Tuesday 12th December. Today, oil companies have once again kept oil prices stable at the national level, however, due to changes in the Value Added Tax (VAT) imposed on petrol and diesel by the state governments oil prices changed in some cities.
Petrol and diesel do not come under the purview of GST, hence every state government imposes its value-added tax on fuel.
