Petrol Price Hike: The Oil marketing companies have increased the prices of premium petrol by Rs 2-Rs 2.3 per litre, likely due to escalating geopolitical tensions in the Middle East impacting global fuel markets. The revised rates have come into effect on Friday, March 20, according to CNBC-Awaaz.
According to the dealers, high-octane fuels such as Indian Oil's XP95 and Hindustan Petroleum's Power petrol have seen an increase in prices. At some outlets, IOCL’s XP95 is now priced around Rs 101.80 per litre, while HPCL’s Power petrol has seen a similar increase of Rs 2-Rs 2.3 per litre across multiple pumps.

Price Of Regular Petrol Remains Unchanged
The prices of regular petrol and diesel remain unchanged. Fuel rates for standard petrol have largely remained unchanged for an extended period, despite volatility in global crude oil prices.
