PM Kisan 19th Installment: The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna is a welfare scheme for farmers. Under the scheme, eligible farmers get assistance of Rs 6,000 in a year with three transfers of Rs. 2,000 each into their bank accounts configured under the Direct Benefit Transfer mode. 

The scheme was introduced in 2018, and since then prime Minister Modi has released 18 total installments and the 19th installment is scheduled for last week in February 2025. Registered farmers can check their payment status online at pmkisan.gov.in, the official PM-Kisan website.

Steps to check name in PM Kisan beneficiary list

- Visit their official website pmkisan.gov.in.

- Select the option "Beneficiary Status."

- Fill in the field with your Aadhaar number, bank account number, or mobile number.

- Click on the "Get Data" button, and the payment status will be displayed.

if your name is not shown on the beneficiaries' list, then you should refer to their agriculture department or reach out to the nearest Common Service Centre.

e-KYC is mandatory for the 19th installment

For the sake of transparency, e-KYC is mandatory for PM-Kisan beneficiaries to get the benefits. Thus, if they haven't completed certain sessions of e-KYC, this will bear a consequence on the payment status of the 19th installment.

How to complete e-KYC

If your Aadhaar card is linked with your mobile number, you can complete e-KYC online using these steps:

- Open the official PM-Kisan portal (pmkisan.gov.in).

- Click on the option 'e-KYC'.

- Enter the Aadhaar number and the OTP received on your registered mobile number.

- Submit the form to complete the process.

- Facial authentication-based e-KYC

This procedure is applied with a mobile app for the face recognition identity verification of the person.

Biometric-based e-KYC

If you do not have your Aadhaar linked to your mobile number, you need to go either to the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC).

- The operators in the CSC shall verify it by taking either your fingerprint or your iris under the scanner.

- After establishing your identity, the e-KYC shall be duly completed.

- You need to confirm your eligibility by 24th February 2025

Since the 19th instalment will be credited to the farmers' accounts on 24th February 2025, farmers need to complete their e-KYC on the PM-Kisan web portal and check their names in the beneficiary list on or before 24th February 2025 to ensure that they receive the amount.
