The government has made e-KYC and physical verification mandatory for the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Farmers whose e-KYC and physical verification are not completed will have their payments halted.

The scheme benefits 54,767 farmers in the district. So far, only 50,912 farmers have completed e-KYC, while 27,671 have completed physical verification. While 3,189 farmers are denied e-KYC, another 27,741 are denied physical verification.

Despite repeated requests from the Agriculture Department, farmers are uninterested in completing e-KYC and physical verification. In this regard, the Agriculture Department is organizing e-KYC and physical verification of farmers through camps in various Panchayats. Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers receive Rs. 6,000 per year in three installments of Rs. 2,000.

The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi amount will not be credited to the accounts of farmers who do not undergo e-KYC and physical verification. Obtaining e-KYC under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is not difficult. Farmers can also do it from the comfort of their own homes.

Get Your E-KYC Done This Way

Farmers can complete the mandatory e-KYC for PM Kisan from the comfort of their own homes using their smartphones. This requires that the farmer's mobile number be linked to his or her Aadhar card. This is required because the OTP will only be sent to the registered mobile number, completing the e-KYC process. Not only that, but interested farmers can meet with the Agriculture Coordinator and Farmer Advisor to complete e-KYC.

E-KYC of PM Kisan beneficiary farmers is being performed at the Common Service Centre using a biometric method. A farmer's Aadhar card and a registered mobile number are also required for this work at the Common Service Centre. The Common Service Centre charges Rs 17 for this. Aside from these, CSC operators charge service fees ranging from Rs 10 to Rs 20. In this case, you may have to pay up to Rs 37 to CSC for e-KYC.
