Pm Kisan 16th Installment:  The government on PM Kisan's official website announced that the Union Government is going to release the 16th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana to eligible farmers by the end of February.

As per information updated on the website, the 16th installment of PM Kisan is set to release on February 28.

Beneficiaries under the PM Kisan scheme get a benefit of Rs 6,000 per annum, which is being trnasfered direct to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries in three installmets of Rs 2,000. Last year in November, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 15th installment to 15. 8 crore beneficiaries, which cost Rs 18,000 crore.

How to check Beneficiary Status

Below are the steps that will Farmers in checking the status of their beneficiaries

- Go to official website of PM-Kisan, which is pmkisan.gov.in

- Find 'Farmer Corner' on the homepage

- Next, tap on 'Beneficiary Status' option

- You will have to choose your state, then district, and Sub District, at the end you will choose Block, or Village from the drop-down menu.

- Now click on 'Get Report' and you will get the status.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has also launched a multilingual PM-Kisan Artificial Intelligence Chatbot (Kisan e-Mitra) to help resolve farmers' grievances. The chatbot works in Hindi, Tamil, Odia, Bengali and English.
