Q4 Result: Indian Tech giant Infosys and leading automobile firm Bajaj Auto announced their result for the last quarter of financial year 24. Both companies have posted a profit in their Q4. Infosys reported that it has registered a 30 percent growth in its profit in the fourth quarter, while Bajaj Auto posted a 35 percent increase in its standalone after-tax profit. Infoysis Q4 Result
IT company Infosys said on Thursday that its consolidated profit increased by 30% to Rs 7,969 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2024. In the same period of the previous year, the company had made a profit of Rs 6,128 crore, as per regulatory documents. Infosys' consolidated revenue during the quarter under review increased 1.3% to Rs 37,923 crore from Rs 37,441 crore in the year-ago quarter.
The company expects revenue growth of 1-3 percent in constant currency for FY2025. During the financial year ended March 2024, net profit increased 8.9% to Rs 26,233 crore from Rs 24,095 crore reported in FY23. Annual revenue from operations increased 4.7% to Rs 1,53,670 crore in FY2024 from Rs 1,46,767 crore in the previous year. A final dividend of Rs 20 per share plus an additional special dividend of Rs 8 per share was recommended for FY2024. The company also announced that it would acquire 100% of German company In-Tech in an all-cash deal worth €450 million.
Bajaj Auto Q4 Result
Bajaj Auto reported a 35 percent increase in its standalone after-tax profit to Rs 1,936 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2024. The Pune-based company reported a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 1,433 crore in the January-March quarter of the fiscal year 2022-23.
Revenue from operations increased by 29 percent to Rs 11,485 crore in the fourth quarter, compared to Rs 8,905 crore in the year-ago period. For the year ended March 31, 2024, the company reported a 33 percent increase in PAT to Rs 7,479 crore from Rs 5,628 crore in FY23. Revenue from operations increased from Rs 36,428 crore to Rs 44,685 crore in the fiscal year 2022-23.
