In its recent advisory, the Reserve Bank of India has asked credit card issuers to allow customers to modify their credit card billing cycle at least once. the central bank has said that to provide flexibility, cardholders should be allowed to modify the billing cycle of the credit card at least once, at their convenience.

As we know the due date of the credit card bill usually falls between 15-20 days after the statement date, which means customers get a 45- to 50-day interest-free period to pay their bill.
