Most banks offer RuPay credit cards with varying prices, features, and benefits. The Rupay credit card, like Visa and Mastercard, allows secure payments for goods and services in India and abroad. The use of indigenous Rupay credit cards has been booming as they can be linked to UPI accounts and payment can be made easily to merchants' accounts through QR codes.
The annual fees vary depending on the bank and the type of card. Below are the details of a major bank offering Rupay credit cards and what are the annual fees, they charge.
- The HDFC Bank Tata New Infinity Credit Card, with an annual fee of Rs 1,499, offers NewCoins rewards on Tata spends and partner brands, cashback on other spends and UPI payments, free lounge access, and lower foreign exchange margin charges.
- The HDFC Bank MoneyBack+ Credit Card, with an annual fee of Rs 500, offers ATM, dining discounts, fuel surcharge waivers, and bonus rewards at popular online and offline stores.
- IDFC First Power Plus Credit Card, which has an annual fee of Rs 499, offers free access to airport lounges and roadside assistance in addition to cashback on fuel and EMI transactions, discounts on food delivery, car rentals, and more.
- The HDFC Bank IRCTC Credit Card, which costs 500 rupees per year, offers welcome gift vouchers, reward points on retail and train transactions, cashback on train tickets, discounts on lounge access, and fuel surcharge waiver.
