Silver, Gold Price Today: Gold and silver prices hit record highs once again today. Silver surged on Friday, breaking the Rs 2 lakh per kilogram barrier for the first time in futures trading, fueled by strong investor demand and positive global trends. Meanwhile, 24-carat gold reached nearly Rs 1.34 lakh per 10 grams on the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX), setting a new high. This rise in both gold and silver follows the US Federal Reserve’s decision to cut interest rates, a move that has continued to influence the market for the second consecutive day.

Silver futures for March delivery rose for the fourth consecutive day, gaining Rs 1,420, or 0.71 per cent , to reach a record Rs 2,00,362 per kilogram on the MCX.

Gold futures for February 5, 2026, also hit an all-time high on Friday, December 12, at around 2:40 PM. It climbed 1.06 per cent , or Rs 1,399, to trade at Rs 1,33,868, with an intra-day high of Rs 1,33,967 and a low of Rs 1,32,275. The previous day, Thursday, it had closed at Rs 1,32,469.

On the international front, Comex silver futures soared to a fresh peak of USD 64.74 per ounce.
