Stock Under Rs 50: Amid the firm trading on December 31, the last trading day of the current calendar year (2025), the shares of small-cap firm 'Pavna Industries' surged over 13 per cent in intraday trade.

The under Rs 50 stock opened in positive territory at Rs 21.60 against last session's closing of Rs 20.91. Later, the scrip surged over 13 per cent to touch an intraday high of Rs 24.19. At around 1:06 PM, the shares were trading at Rs 23.19, up 10.90 per cent on NSE.

Share Price History

The Company's share dipped over 7 per cent in the last 7 days, slipped over 23 per cent in a month, and fell over 50 per cent in a year. In 5 years, it jumped nearly 40 per cent.

The stock 52 week's high and low values stood at Rs 58.40 and 19.80, respectively, on NSE.

Agreement With UP Government

Earlier last month, the company signed a memorandum of understanding with the Uttar Pradesh state government to invest 250 million rupees over the next three to five years in the proposed project, which will create approximately 500 jobs.

According to the company's regulatory information, the UP government will facilitate the establishment of Bhavna Industries' project in the state and the acquisition of the necessary licenses, registrations, approvals, and permits, in accordance with current regulations.

The government will also assist the company in accessing incentives offered under various state and district government programs, as per the filing.

Stock Market Today

The domestic equity indices are trading in positive territory on Wednesday, snapping a losing momentum of several days. At around 1:20 PM, the Sensex was trading at 85,290.42, up 615 points or 0.73 per cent, and the Nifty 50 was up 207 points or 0.80 per cent at around 26,150.

Earlier this week, the indices were trading lower amid profit booking and FPIs' selling pressure.
