Silver Rate Today: After a massive rally last week, the Silver price has been plunging this week so far amid profit booking and signs of ease in the global geopolitical scenario. On Wednesday, the MCX Silver future contract (March 5 Expiry) dragged over 7 per cent or Rs 18,784 in the early trade to a level of Rs 2,32,228 per kilogram against the last session's closing of Rs 2,51,012.0.
However, it recovered a bit and at around 11:25 am the MCX silver was trading at Rs 2,36,888 per kg, down 5.63 per cent or Rs 14,124.
MCX Gold Price
Meanwhile, the MCX Gold (February 5 Expiry) slipped by over a per cent in intraday trade to hit the day's low of Rs 1,35,526 per 10 grams as compared to last day's closing of Rs 1,36,666.0 per 10 grams. At around 11:31 am, the MCX gold was trading at Rs 1,35,626.0, down Rs 1,040 or 0.76 per cent.

Gold Price In India
According to All India Gem and Jewellery Domestic Council (https://www.gjc.org.in/), the standard selling rate in the domestic market for gold today is Rs 1,34,00 per 10 grams
As per the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the 24-carat gold price on Tuesday was Rs 1,34,060 per 10 grams. For 22 carat, it was Rs 1,23,293, and for 18 carat, the rate was Rs 1,00,949 per 10 grams. The silver closed at 2,32,329 per kg.
These prices are excluded from GST and other charges.
