By linking an Aadhaar card, a person can get welfare funds, scholarships, pensions, MNREGA wages, or income tax returns from the government. The government sends subsidies to the accounts linked to Aadhaar. Now let's talk about the method of linking an Aadhar card with a bank account.

How to link a bank account to Aadhaar through Internet Banking

- Go to your bank's internet banking account
- Enter your user ID and password
- Go to “My Account” option and click on “Update Aadhaar with Bank Account (CIF)”
- Fill profile password for Aadhaar registration
- A new page will open in front of you, where you will be asked to fill the Aadhaar number twice.
- After filling your Aadhaar number click on “Submit” button
- Now you will get the message that Aadhaar card has been linked.

How to link Aadhaar to bank account through bank's mobile app

- Go to your bank's mobile application
- Go to “Services” tab in “My Account” option and then click on “View/Update Aadhaar Card Details” option
- Enter your Aadhaar number 2 times and click on “Submit” button
- You will get the message of linking your Aadhaar with your bank account.

Link bank account to Aadhaar with ATM

If you want to link your Aadhar card with the bank offline, you have to visit your respective bank branch or nearest ATM.

Link bank account to Aadhaar in ATM

- Swipe your bank's ATM card and enter your PIN
- Go to the service menu and select the registration option
- Select “Aadhaar Registration” option
- Select account type (savings or current) and enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number
- Enter Aadhaar number once again and click on OK button
- You will get a message confirming successful linking of your Aadhar card with the bank account
