Stock Market Soars Over 1.6% Amid Heavy Buying; Sensex Surges 1,330 Points, Nifty Settles Over 24,500

Stock Market: The domestic benchmark indices have soared over 1.6 percent in Friday's trading session. Sensex, the index of the top 30 stocks on BSE, surged 1,330.96 points to close at 80,436.84. While, Nifty 50, the index of the top 50 shares on the NSE, settled at 24,541.15, over 397.40 points or 1.65%. 

The bullish run was seen in NSE's broader market as well, Nifty Next 50, Nifty Midcap, and others ended the da trade with a jump of over 1.5 percent. All the Sensex stocks closed in green except Sun Pharma. Tech Mahindra, Tata Motors, Mahindra and Mahindra, TCS, and HCL Tech were the top gainers among the Sensex pack.
