Union Budget 2026 Cheaper/Costlier Items List: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget for the 2026-27 financial year in the Lok Sabha on Sunday. This marks the third Budget of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government during its third term. Expectations were high from the government as the growth rate remains the fastest in India, and the economy is well sustained.
