Chennai Super Kings News: Mumbai-born pacer Aman Khan, who represents Puducherry in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT), has created an unwanted record against Jharkhand. Notably, Aman gave away 123 runs in 10 overs, which is the highest-ever for any bowler in List A Cricket. Interestingly, the previous record was held by Arunachal Pradesh's bowler Mibom Mosu during the first round of the VHT.
The current Vijay Hazare Trophy has yielded high-scoring totals for teams. Recently, Bihar posted a massive total of 574 for 6 in which swashbuckling batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored a flawless 190 off 84 balls against Arunachal Pradesh.

Who is Aman Khan?
Recently, Aman was picked by Chennai Super Kings in the recently concluded IPL auction for a price of Rs 40 Lakh. After lack of opportunities in Mumbai, Aman shifted his base to Puducherry marking his debut for them against Rajasthan in 2024.
As far as IPL is concerned, the 28-year-old all-rounder was roped in by KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders) in 2023. In 2024, he was picked up by Delhi Capitals with the franchise giving him 11 matches to prove himself. However, Aman failed to capitalise.
Jharkhand Continues To Dominate
Batting first, Jharkhand put on a commanding display with the bat to post a massive total of 368/7 in their allotted 50 overs. The innings was built around solid contributions from Utkarsh Singh, who scored 74, captain Kumar Kushagra, who struck a fluent 105, and Anukul Roy, who narrowly missed out on a hundred, remaining unbeaten on 98.
Chasing a steep target, Puducherry were bowled out for 235, falling well short. Jharkhand's bowlers kept things tight, with Rajandeep Singh finishing with figures of 3/47, while Anukul Roy also made a telling impact with the ball, picking up 2/58.
