Arjun Tendulkar Engaged: Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary Indian cricketer and Bharat Ratna, Sachin Tendulkar on Wednesday (August 13), got engaged to Saaniya Chandhok. As per a report by India Today, Saaniya is the granddaughter of entrepreneur Ravi Ghai, who is based in Mumbai. Notably, the engagement ceremony was kept discreet as it was attended by close friends and family from both sides on Wednesday.
Interestingly, Arjun's sister Sara Tendulkar has shared a post with Saaniya in the past from her official Instagram profile.

Who is Saaniya Chandhok?
Saaniya, who hardly gets spotted in the media as she prefers to keep a low profile. The official records from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs state her as a Director and Designated Partner at Mr. Paws Pet Spa & Store LLP, which is a pet care venture in Mumbai. A veterinary technician by profession, she completed her ABC programme from WVS.

The report added that Saaniya's grandfather Ravi Ghai, is the son of I.K. Ghai, who is the founder of the iconic Kwality (Kwality Walls now) Ice Cream brand. Over the decades, the family has expanded its business footprint beyond India, establishing a presence in the Middle East and other global markets. Under Ravi Ghai’s leadership, Graviss Hospitality has continued to evolve, investing in both luxury hospitality and innovative food ventures.

Currently, Arjun is part of the domestic cricket team of Goa, along with being part of the Mumbai Indians' squad in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The 25-year-old started his professional career with Mumbai in the 2020/21 season before making a move to Goa for his first-class and List A debuts. Featuring in 17 matches, Arjun has scored 532 runs, including a century and two fifties, and taken 37 wickets.
His IPL career includes five matches, with three wickets and a best bowling figure of 1/9. Mumbai Indians acquired Arjun for a base price of Rs 30 lakh.
