JE Sports Desk: David Warner has continued to struggle for runs in the ongoing Ashes series in England having scored only 141 runs in the six innings of the first three Test matches.
Amid all the on-field action, Warner's wife Candice Warner has sparked speculations over the retirement of the Aussie opener after she posted a cryptic post on her Instagram.
Warner who has been going through a rough patch for a while now has completely failed in the ongoing crucial Ashes series.
36-run innings in the first Test and 66 in the first innings of the second Test are the best of his knocks so far, with his opening partner Usman Khawaja being the top scorer with 356 runs to his name.

Following Australia’s three-wicket defeat in the third Ashes Test, Warner’s spouse Candice dropped a family picture on Instagram with a note reading, “The end of an era for us touring with Test cricket, it’s been fun. Forever your biggest supporters and your girl gang. Love you, David Warner.”
In the recently concluded third Test at Headingley, Warner was dismissed by Stuart Broad twice as the left-handed batter managed just five runs across both innings.
The 36-year-old registered a complete failure on the India tour earlier this year and repeated the same in the World Test Championship (WTC) final against India last month.
Warner, however, has been getting perfect backing from the Aussie team management including coach Andrew McDonald and skipper Pat Cummins who are optimistic about the batter's return to the form anytime soon.
After the loss, Cummins was asked about dropping Warner to accommodate both Marsh and Green in the playing XI.
“We’ll keep all our options open. We’ve got nine or 10 days now, so we’ll take a deep breath," Cummins replied.
“We’ll go away for a few days but everyone comes back into it. Greeny should be fit for Manchester, we should have a full roster. So we’ll have a look at the wicket, have a chat, and work out the best XI."

Fast bowler Cummins, however, was rather more strident when questioned about the likelihood of Marsh being dropped.
“It’s possible, but it was a pretty impressive week wasn’t it?" he said.
Meanwhile, the left-handed opener Warner has signaled his intention to retire from Test duty against Pakistan at his Sydney home ground next year.
