India's sensational victory over Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup 2023 final sent shockwaves through the cricketing world. In a match filled with record-breaking moments, India clinched a resounding 10-wicket win at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

1. India's Eighth Asia Cup Title: India extended their dominance in the Asia Cup by clinching their eighth ODI title in the tournament's history. Sri Lanka remained second with six titles.

2. Siraj's Historic Feat: Siraj's exceptional spell of 6 for 21 not only helped India secure the victory but also etched his name in the record books. He equaled the fastest ODI five-wicket haul record, shared with Chaminda Vaas (16 balls).

Additionally, he became the second-fastest bowler to reach 50 ODI wickets in terms of bowls being bowled (1002 balls).

Moreover, Siraj became the fifth bowler overall and the first Indian to take four wickets in an ODI over.
