Asia Cup 2025 Points Table: The Asia Cup 2025 is nearing the end of its group stage, with Pakistan registering a 41-run victory over the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Wednesday in Group A.

The focus now shifts to the last two remaining clashes of the group matches, with India taking on Oman in Group A and Sri Lanka facing Afghanistan in Group B.

A brief protest by Men in Green against match referee Andy Pycroft led to a one-hour delay in the start of their match against the tournament hosts. Despite this, Pakistan sealed a 41-run victory over the UAE, setting the stage for a thrilling Super Four clash against India on Sunday.

Following a controversial handshake incident during Pakistan's previous match against traditional rivals India, the Men in Green threatened to pull out of their match against the United Arab Emirates.

Fakhar Zaman's 50 and Shaheen Afridi's quick-fire 29 off 14 balls powered Pakistan to a modest total of 146/9 in 20 overs against UAE. In chase, Rahul Chopra (35 off 35 balls) tried his bit, but he could never get the big shots going, even as the asking rate soared, untimately UAE faced a 41-run defeat against Pakistan.
