Asia Cup 2025 Schedule: After months of uncertainty and controversy, the 2025 Asia Cup schedule is finally back on track, with the tournament's schedule likely to be announced within the next 24-48 hours, as per Cricbuzz.
According to a report in Cricbuzz, if the announcement is not made early on Saturday (July 26), the schedule is likely to be announced within the next 24-48 hours.
The tumultuous Asian Cricket Council meeting in Dhaka, which was shrouded in controversy and acrimony, fueled by the regional geopolitical situation between Pakistan and Bangladesh, appears to have finally paved the way for a breakthrough.
The Asia Cup schedule is likely to come out in phases, with a partial reveal expected as early as Saturday and the rest likely on Monday. The tournament is set to take place from September 10 to 28, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the UAE confirmed as the host cities.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), as the designated host of the Asia Cup, is taking their time to finalise the schedule draft, with nominal adjustments possible.
After the Dhaka meeting on Thursday, the BCCI raised some pending commercial matters that needed to be solved before finalising the Asia Cup schedule.

Eight teams - India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, UAE, and Oman - are set to battle it out in the Asia Cup, which features around 19 matches.
To set the stage for a thrilling rivalry, India and Pakistan are likely to be drawn in the same group for the Asia Cup. This also indicates that there will be three contests between the arch-rivals- once in the league stage, again in the Super 4s, and potentially in the final.
