New Delhi | Jagran Sports Desk: The Australian Cricket Board (ACB) on Tuesday announced a 14-member squad for their upcoming tour to India scheduled to take place next month. The team will be continued to be led by opening batsman Aaron Finch while Pat Cummins has been named as his deputy. Alex Carey will continue to be the wicket-keeper while Marnus Labuschange has earned his place owing to his spectacular knocks in the Test series against Pakistan and New Zealand. He will join Australia's Ashton Turner and Peter Handscomb in the middle-order with Finch, Warner and Steve Smith at the top. Nathan Lyon has left out and Adam Zampa will lead the pack of spinners.

There was no place for the Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stonis, who were part of the World Cup. They will instead play in the KFC Big Bash League while the national side will visit the subcontinent. Maxwell, in particular, averaged just 22.12 in the World Cup while Stonis averaged 14.5, battling injury through the campaign.
Besides them, Usman Khawaja, Nathan Coulter Nile, Shaun Marsh have been also dropped while Jason Behrendorff is unavailable due to injury.
Hazlewood has been named despite getting ruled of the second test at MCG with a hamstring strain.
The first of the three-match series is scheduled to take place at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on January 14. The next two matches will be hosted by Rajot and Bengaluru on January 17 and 19 before India travells to New Zealand for their second tour within 12-months time.
The last time Australia toured India, they defeated the hosts 3-2 in ODIs and 2-1 in T20Is
