Australia vs West Indies, 1st Test: Australia proved to be too brilliant for West Indies as they defeated them by 10 wickets in the first Test at the Adelaide Oval on Friday, January 19.
They chased down the 26-run target in just 6.4 overs to complete the dominant victory inside three days and take a 1-0 lead in the two-match series.
The visitors continued their second innings from the overnight score of 73/6 and were bowled out for just 120 runs with Josh Hazlewood taking yet another five-wicket haul.

Mitchell Starc and Nathan Lyon provided promising support as they picked up two wickets each whereas Cameron Green took a wicket as well to help the Aussies bowl West Indies out in just 35.2 overs.
After opting to bowl first, the hosts put up a clinical bowling performance in the first innings and bowled West Indies out for 188 runs in 62.1 overs.
Kirk McKenzie was the top scorer for them as he scored 50 runs while debutant Shamar Joseph scored 36 runs.
Hazlewood and skipper Pat Cummins took four wickets each whereas Starc and Lyon took a wicket each as well.
The visitors put up a fight with the ball on the back of Shamar's five-wicket haul but Travis Head's century allowed the hosts to take the first-inning lead before they were bowled out for 283 runs in 81.1 overs.
Kemar Roach and Justin Greaves picked up two wickets each whereas Alzarri Joseph ended up taking a wicket as well.
Travis Head, for his crucial knock of 119 runs in 134 balls with the help of 12 fours and three sixes, was adjudged as the Player of the Match.
"It was challenging through parts, but lucky the experience came through. Nice to get some runs this summer. Great crowd, hope everyone enjoyed it," Head said at the post-match presentation.
Resuming their second innings on the third day of the match, West Indies lost their seventh wicket in the 27th over when Starc dismissed Joshua Da Silva for 18 runs with Hazlewood making no mistake with the catch at the deep backward square.
Starc followed it with another success, dismissing Alzarri for 16 runs in the 31st over before Hazlewood got Motie for 3.
The debutant Shamar tried to contribute more with the bat after hitting three boundaries for his 15 runs but was undone by Lyon as the visitors were bowled out in 35.2 overs.
"Great Test match. It was a wicket where you always felt like one would leap and could get even a set batter out. Travis Head set it up for us, don't think anyone else got over 50. Hazlewood was on fire, he got it done in just one spell," skipper Cummins said after the match.
The second and final Test of the series is scheduled to be played at The Gabba in Brisbane and will commence on January 25 before both teams face off in the white-ball leg.
