Australia batter Travis Head has tested positive for COVID-19 which delayed his arrival in Brisbane for the second Test against West Indies. Head showed symptoms after the conclusion of the first Test in Adelaide.

Cricket Australia has confirmed that the batter has contracted the virus and will be held back until Tuesday morning to give him more time to recover, The Age reported.

The Australian team is scheduled to start their training session at The Gabba from 5 PM (local time) on Tuesday.
