Australia Men's Cricket Team Vs England National Cricket Team Match Scorecard: Former Australia opener David Warner did not mince his words, launching a scathing attack on veteran England batter Joe Root for his "no sense Bazball" approach, which eventually backfired in the ongoing first Test against Australia at the Perth Stadium in Perth.

The veteran England batter, Root, was removed for a duck in the first innings and only managed 8 runs in the second before handing his wicket to Mitchell Starc in the 20th over.

Both times in the Perth Test, Root lost his wicket to Starc. Notably, the 34-year-old fell prey to Starc for the 10th time in Tests.

“It's Bazball with no sense, all those three to start. Now we want some smarts in the game, and that just isn't smart, especially from a guy with over 10,000 runs. Trying to create something out of nothing. They're well ahead of the game, and that passage of play there could prove costly,” Warner said on air while commentating for Fox Cricket.

Root has faced 639 balls against Starc in the Tets format, scoring 349 runs at an average of a bit over 34 and being removed 10 times in the process.

Meanwhile, Mitchell Starc shone bright in Perth as he took 10 wickets for the match, including his career-best 7-58 in the first innings, starting Day 2, which also features a spectacular catch to remove Zac Crawley. Later, he went on to scalp the prize names of Joe Root and Ben Stokes as England was dismissed for 164 in its second innings.
