IND vs AUS: India's star batter Virat Kohli and fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah were involved in a heartwarming gesture with Billy and Jonny Konstas', Sam Konstas' brothers at the New Year's celebration being held by Australia's Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. These celebrations were organized by Glenn McGrath's Foundation before the fifth and the last Test match, which would be held in SCG. Both the teams, India and Australia attended this event and thus ignored their on-field rivalries for a few moments.
The Konstas brothers shared these images of the conversation they had with Kohli and Bumrah on their official social media accounts and thus grabbed the attention of the fans. This heart-warming gesture came after both Kohli and Sam Konstas were involved in a physical altercation on the first day of the fourth Test match in Melbourne.

Konstas made a dream debut on the first day of the fourth Test as he was involved in a heated exchange with India's star batter. Irrespective of their on-field rivalry, Kohli's photo showed the bond and respect that grew after the game.
Jasprit Bumrah too had a few nervy moments with Konstas. The debutant played some audacious scoop shots and smashed boundaries in Bumrah's over as he also had hit him for a six. But, Jasprit Bumrah did take his wicket on the fourth day and uniquely celebrated the dismissal. This on-field rivalry made the ongoing series even more intense.
The fifth and the last Test match, which would be held at SCG, also has a special significance as it would cross with Jane McGrath Day, which would be celebrated on the third day. This day pays tribute to Jane McGrath, who was Glenn McGrath's ex-wife, who passed away owing to breast cancer in 2008. Jane and Glenn formed this foundation in 2005, to spread awareness about breast care nurses and breast cancer, especially in youngsters.
These heartwarming gestures show the unity this sport has and even though both the teams do share a fierce rivalry, the fifth Test match would be an exciting nail-biting thriller.
