Pakistan National Cricket Team vs Bangladesh National Cricket Team Match Scorecard: A superb half-century by opener Parvez Hossain Emon and disciplined bowling led Bangladesh to outclass Pakistan by seven wickets with almost five overs to spare in the first T20I of the three-match series at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Sunday.
Parvez struck a blistering 56 not out off just 39 balls, smashing three fours and five sixes, to push Bangladesh to 112-3 in 15.3 overs. Earlier, Bangladesh's disciplined bowling restricted Pakistan to 110 runs in 19.3 overs, with Rahman conceding only six runs in his four-over spell.
Chasing 111, Parvez and Towhid Hridoy constructed an important 73-run partnership for the third wicket, with both batters adopting a careful approach to navigate the difficult conditions and fibbed the footing for their team's victory.
Debutant Salman Mirza's crucial blows had Bangladesh reeling at 7-2. The debutant claimed two wickets in the match's start overs, concluding with figures of 2-23.
Mirza made his mark early, dismissing Tanzid Hasan with a dashingly rising delivery and he followed this up with the scalp of captain Liton Das. Tanzid and Liton made 1 run each.
