SL vs BAN, Asia Cup 2025: Bangladesh captain Litton Das won the toss and opted to field against Sri Lanka in their Asia Cup 2025 Super Four clash at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on Saturday.

Sri Lanka remains one of the two unbeaten teams in the competition. They began their campaign with a convincing 6-wicket win against Bangladesh. The Lankans navigated a tense encounter against Hong Kong and then successfully pulled off a tricky run-chase against Afghanistan.

Speaking at the time of toss, Das said, "We'll bowl first. When I saw the first leg, all the matches were won by the teams batting second. Also, unsure about the pitch. We are excited to play the game. Two changes. Sohan and Rishad are not playing."

Sri Lanka captain said Charith Asalanka, "We would have done the same thing. It's a used pitch. A lot of young players have come into the side since 2021 and are maturing. We are going with the same team."
