Cricket At Asian Games 2026 Schedule: The upcoming edition of the Asian Games, which is set to be hosted by Japan in its cities of Aichi and Nagoya from September 19 to October 4 this year. Although some events are slated to begin earlier, with Cricket to take place from September 17 to October 3. Just like in the previous edition, the games will be in T20 format, played by both men’s and women’s teams of the Asian Subcontinent, with all matches scheduled at Korogi Athletic Park in Aichi Prefecture.
Notably, both tournaments were clinched by the Indian contingent earned a gold medal in the men's and women's categories.
The men's cricket tournament will begin on September 24, as ten teams will battle it out for gold, silver, and bronze medals. The quarterfinal stage is set to begin after three days of preliminary games, all of which will be of a qualifying nature.
The preliminary games of the women's tournament are scheduled to start on September 17, with 8 teams vying for medals. The medal matches will begin on September 22.
According to the structure implemented at the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou, the four highest-seeded teams are anticipated to move straight into the quarterfinals, while the other six teams will play preliminary matches to compete for the remaining four places.

The matches will begin at 5:30 AM IST or 10:30 AM IST.

October 3: Bronze medal match and gold medal match
The matches in men’s tournaments will also be played in two slots of 5:30 AM IST and 10:30 AM IST.
