CSK vs RR, IPL 2025: The legendary wicketkeeper-batter MS Dhoni is poised to engrave another milestone in his phenomenal T20 career as Chennai Super Kings (CSK) gears up to take on Rajasthan Royals (RR) to salvage pride in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 encounter at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Tuesday.

The 42-year-old is tantalizingly close to a notable milestone, requiring just one six to reach 350 sixes in T20 cricket. After achieving the feat, he would join the elite group, marking him 34th batter globally and the fourth Indian after Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Suryakumar Yadav, to accomplish this landmark.

The legendary skipper has impressive T20 career statistics, standing at 349 sixes from 403 matches, which is complemented by 7612 runs at an average of 37.68 and a strike rate of 135.75.

While Dhoni is bound closer to the 350-six milestone, the milestone for the most maximums in T20s remains firmly in the grasp of Chris Gayle, who has hit 1056 of them in 463 matches.

IPL 2025: CSK looking to salvage pride against RR

Now that CSK's playoff aspirations have been dashed, the five-time champions will take on RR to salvage their pride and focus on securing as many wins as possible to not finish in the bottom spot.

Dhoni, who took the reins of CSK's captaincy after Ruturaj Gaikwad was ruled out due to injury, has had his ups and downs, both as skipper and as a batter.
