CSK vs DC IPL 2025: CSK's star player Vansh Bedi was seen sleeping inside the dugout when the hosts were chasing against Delhi Capitals in their backyard on Saturday. Bedi, who hasn't featured in any of the matches for the Chennai-based franchise till now, was seen falling to sleep while sitting next to Ravindra Jadeja in the powerplay when they were struggling to score runs.

The fans took to their X account and decided to troll the youngster on social media. Vansh grabbed the limelight in their IPL 2025 match against RCB since he was seen clicking pictures with MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli post the match and were also involved in a conversation. He is considered a formidable wicket-keeper batter, who performed brilliantly during the DPL last year. He can also play well against spinners.

But, he once again hogged the limelight for another reason as his image of taking a nap in the match against had gone viral on social media.

How did the CSK vs DC game unfold?

Axar Patel won the toss and chose to bat first at the Chepauk stadium. Since Faf Du Plessis was ruled out from the match, KL Rahul opened the innings and this decision worked in their favor. He scored a match-winning knock of 77 runs off 51 balls and Abhishek Porel and Tristan Stubbs too made significant contributions and helped the team post a respectable target of 183 runs on a tricky surface in Chennai.

While chasing, the hosts were always trying to catch up as the DC bowlers had put them under pressure since the first bowl. CSK lost three wickets during the powerplay and had scored just 42 runs.

Although Vijay Shankar did score a gritty knock of 69 runs his efforts went in vain. MS Dhoni too scored 30 runs and tried to entertain the fans since they have now slipped to the bottom half of the points table.
