The overseas players of Durbar Rajshahi, including a number of foreign stars, including one from Pakistan, are currently stuck in their team hotel in Dhaka, unable to return home due to the franchise's failure to meet payment deadlines.

As per ESPNcricinfo, despite repeated attempts to contact the team owner and management, the players have been met with silence, leaving them without updates or reimbursement. As a result, the players remain stranded in Dhaka, awaiting tickets for their flights back home, with no clear resolution in sight.

Meanwhile, several overseas players who represented Rajshahi, including Mohammad Haris from Pakistan, Afghanistan's Aftab Alam, West Indies duo Mark Deyal and Miguel Cummins, and Zimbabwe's Ryan Burl, are still awaiting partial payment of their dues.

The payment situation for Rajshahi's overseas players has been inconsistent, with some receiving only 25% of their dues, while others have yet to receive any payment at all.

To make matters worse, the players have also been denied their daily allowance for the past 11 days, adding to their financial uncertainty and frustration.

In a significant development, Bangladesh's sports adviser Asif Mahmud revealed that he had a conversation with the team owner, Rahman, on Saturday, sternly warning him about the repercussions of failing to settle the outstanding payments to the players.
