England vs India Tests: Wasim Jaffer's banter with Michael Vaughan on social media is closely followed and massively loved by the fans. The former Indian batter was quick to take a dig at Vaughan after the Shubman Gill-led side registered a famous win in the fifth Test at the Kennington Oval on Monday.
Even after the conclusion of the exciting five-match series, there are no signs of the hilarious banter ending, and now Jaffer has brought in the reference of US President Donald Trump too. Notably, Vaughan's prediction (England's 3-1 win) couldn't become a reality as the Test series ended in a 2-2 draw.
Ever since India produced a thrilling effort to clinch a 6-run win at the Oval, Jaffer and Vaughan shared a series of posts on social media, continuing their banter that entertained the fans.
"Reports of Donald Trump negotiating a ceasefire between me and @MichaelVaughan are BASELESS and UNTRUE. The social media war will continue. Thank you for your attention to this matter. #ENGvIND," he wrote in a recent post on X.

Earlier, Jaffer had written on X: "Thanks from my content team, Michael. I asked if they could help you, too. They read your predictions and said, “Ask him to focus on being content, not producing it.” Don't listen to them, though. I'd hate to lose my permanent social media wicket."
He was referring to a post by Vaughan where he had taken a dig at Jaffer's content team.
India's win in the series came at Edgbaston and the Oval, whereas they produced a memorable effort to draw the fourth match in Manchester. Shubman Gill led from the front with the bat in his first assignment as India's Test skipper and was the highest run-getter with 754 runs at an average of 75.40, hitting four incredible centuries.
On the other hand, Mohammed Siraj stepped up in the final Test and took nine wickets on the back of a five-for in the second innings. He was the leading wicket-taker in the series as well, with 23 scalps to his name at an average of 32.43.
