India Domestic Cricket Full Schedule: The BCCI has unveiled the official full schedule of the 2025-26 domestic season, where important tournaments like the Duleep Trophy, Ranji Trophy, Irani Cup, Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, and the Vijay Hazare Trophy will be held and the board has also made a few changes in these tournaments. The Indian domestic cricket calendar for the men's team would begin with Duleep Trophy, which would be held between August 28 to September 15 and the summit clash would be held in Bengaluru.

After that, the next domestic tournament is the Irani Cup, where the winners of the Ranji Trophy lock horns with the Rest of India. The tournament this year will be held in Nagpur between October 1 to 5.

Ranji Trophy to continue two-phase format

India's top first-class tournament, which is the Ranji Trophy, will be held in the split-phase format, this year as well:

Phase 1 (Elite & Plate Group Leagues): October 15 – November 19, 2025

Phase 2: January 22 – February 1, 2026

Knockout Stage: February 6 – February 28, 2026

Plate Knockouts: January 22 – January 26, 2026

Ranji Trophy Groups For 2025-26 season

Elite A: Tamil Nadu, Baroda, Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra, Nagaland

Elite B: Saurashtra, Chandigarh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Goa

Elite C: Gujarat, Haryana, Services, Bengal, Railways, Tripura, Uttarakhand, Assam

Elite D: Mumbai, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Hyderabad, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Puducherry

Plate: Meghalaya, Mizoram, Sikkim, Manipur, Arunachal

Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy introduces a new format

The group stage of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy will begin on November 26 and will go on till December 8 the matches will be held in cities like Lucknow, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata. The board has made one change in this tournament, where a Super League stage would be held in a knockout format. The Super League and the summit clash will be held in Indore from December 12 to 18.

Vijay Hazare Trophy schedule

The Vijay Hazare Trophy, which is being held in the ODI format, will undergo structural changes during the group-stage matches. This tournament will have four elite groups and one plate group format.

League Stage: December 24, 2025 – January 8, 2026 in Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Jaipur, and Bangalore

Knockouts: January 12 – 18, 2026 at the Centre of Excellence
