GT vs RR IPL 2025 Weather and pitch report: Gujarat Titans have made a brilliant comeback after losing their tournament opener of the ongoing season. They have won three consecutive matches as they have defeated teams like Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The Shubman Gill-led side will lock horns with Rajasthan Royals during their next IPL match in their backyard. The match will be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Wednesday. After winning six points by playing in four matches, they are now lying in the second position in the points table. They will aim to remove Delhi Capitals as the table toppers by winning the upcoming clash.

Star pacer Mohammed Siraj had put up a match-winning performance for the Gujarat-based franchise during their last IPL match. He had taken a four-fer and helped the team skittle SRH out for just 152 runs.

Shubman Gill led the team from the front by scoring a match-winning knock of 61 runs, whereas Washington Sundar also made a significant contribution by scoring 49 runs. Sherfane Rutherford made a significant contribution of 34 runs and helped the team win the match with 20 balls remaining.

The Sanju Samson-led side played their last IPL match against Punjab Kings, which they won by 50 runs and thus won their second match of the season. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Riyan Parag shone with the bat and helped the team post a mammoth target of 205 runs. In reply, the Punjab-based franchise suffered a batting collapse as Jofra Archer took three wickets whereas Sandeep Sharma and Maheesh Theekshana took two wickets apiece.

Narendra Modi Stadium Pitch Report:

Just two IPL matches have been held at this stadium till now and they were held on different pitches. During the IPL 2025 match between GT and PBKS, the target of 200-plus seemed gettable. But the same surface did lack bounce in GT's match against MI.

If the IPL 2025 match between GT and RR is held on the same black soil wicket, then whichever team bats first would post a mammoth target of more than 190 runs. But if the red soil is used then even the target of 210 won't be enough.

Ahmedabad Weather Forecast:

Rain won't be playing a spoilsport in the IPL 2025 clash between Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals, which will be held on Wednesday. Although, Ahmedabad might experience a partly cloudy sky.

The wind gusts will blow at 13-17 km/hr whereas the temperature would range between 26 to 43 degrees Celsius and the humidity will be around 18-24 percent as per Accuweather.com.
