IND vs PAK Controversy, Asia Cup 2025: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the results of the multiple Code of Conduct hearings regarding the matches played during the ICC Asia Cup 2025. The hearings were conducted by members of the ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees following incidents in the matches between India and Pakistan on 14, 21 and 28 September.

Notably, India defeated their arch-rivals Pakistan thrice in the Asia Cup 2025 before lifting their record-extending ninth title. They defeated Pakistan in the final before the Men in Blue refused to receive the trophy from Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) head Mohsin Naqvi.

Pakistan's star pacer Haris Rauf has been suspended for two international matches, which means he will miss the two ODI matches against South Africa on November 4 and 6 in the ongoing home series. He was found guilty of breaching the ICC code of conduct in two matches against India and was fined 30 per cent of his match fee for each, resulting in a total of four demerit points.

Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan was found guilty of the same offence and was issued an official warning, getting a demerit point as well.

On the other hand, young Indian pacer Arshdeep Singh was found not guilty of an alleged breach of Article 2.6, which pertains to using a gesture that is obscene, offensive or insulting, and therefore no sanction was imposed. In another punishment, Jasprit Bumrah (India) accepted a charge under Article 2.21 for conduct that brings the game into disrepute and the proposed sanction of an official warning, which resulted in one demerit point.

Having won all of their matches in the tournament, India ended up lifting their record-extending ninth Asia Cup title. Notably, the continental tournament was played amid heavy speculations, and multiple controversies erupted after the Indian team refused the customary handshakes as a protest against the Pahalgam Terror Attack.
