ICC Rankings: Yashasvi Jaiswal, India's young batting sensation made it to the top 10 of the ICC rankings for Test batters for the first time in his career.
Jaiswal was rewarded with the rise in the rankings on the back of his remarkable form in the ongoing Test series against England at home.

Jaiswal, who made his Test debut in 2023, jumped two places to claim the 10th spot with 727 rating points under his belt.
As India lead the five-match series against England by 3-1, Jaiswal created history by joining an elite club of Indian batters to have scored 600 or more runs in a Test series.

He is the only left-handed batter in the list to have achieved the feat.
The 22-year-old is also the only fifth Indian ever to have crossed the 600-run mark in a Test series, joining the likes of Sunil Gavaskar, Dilip Sardesai, Rahul Dravid, and Virat Kohli.
Jaiswal has scored 655 runs so far in the series at an average of 93.57 with the help of two fifties and as many centuries, both converted into double hundreds.
He could now be targeting Sunil Gavaskar's record of most runs (774) for any Indian batter in a Test series.
On the other hand, skipper Rohit Sharma jumped two spots further to stand 11th after his remarkable knock of 131 runs helped India win the Rajkot Test.
Star batter Virat Kohli, who has missed the entire five-Test series against England, also moved up one spot to eighth.
In the top three, Joe Root replaced Steve Smith in the second spot after the English batter scored a quality century in the fourth Test in Ranchi.
Australia's Marnus Labuschagne slipped as many as five positions after a disappointing outing in the first Test against New Zealand at Wellington.
New Zealand's talismanic batter Kane Williamson, with 870 points, stands at the top comfortably ahead of Root (799), following his incredible run of seven centuries in his last eight Tests.
