ICC Women's World Cup 2025 Points Table: India suffered another major setback in their road to the semifinal of the ICC Women's World Cup 2025 after a defeat against England in a thrilling contest at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore on Sunday.
This was their third successive defeat in the tournament as they remained fourth in the ICC Women's World Cup 2025 points table with two wins and four points after five matches. Their two wins came against Sri Lanka and Pakistan earlier in the tournament. The Women in Blue fell just short of chasing down the 289-run target as England bounced back with an incredible effort.
England have become the third team after Australia and South Africa to qualify for the semis. Along with Australia, they still remain unbeaten in the ongoing tournament. The Nat Sciver-Brunt-led side jumped to the second spot with four wins and nine points after five games. Australia continue to remain at the top, whereas South Africa are placed fourth.

How Can India Qualify for ICC Women's World Cup 2025 Semifinal | Check Scenarios
India will next play New Zealand on Thursday before playing their last match against Bangladesh on October 26. If India win both matches, they will qualify for the semi-finals. If India lose to New Zealand, then they would hope the White Ferns lose their last match against England. Then, India would need to beat Bangladesh and make it to the final four.
