IND vs AUS 3rd ODI: India's star batter Shreyas Iyer had shown his fielding prowess and also injured himself as he tried to take a stunning catch to dismiss Alez Carey in the 33rd over of the ongoing match. The incident occurred on the 4th ball of Harshit Rana's over as Carey tried to play a short ball which went towards outside off, but got a top edge and went towards deep third. Iyer was seen running back with his eyes on the ball and attempted a full dive.

The celebration of the visitors became worrisome as Iyer was seen lying on the ground, reeling in pain and holding his ribs, making his teammates run towards him to check on him. He then left the field along with the team's physio.

India looks to restrict Australia under 300

Both Harshit Rana and Washington Sundar took wickets at regular intervals and are trying to restrict the hosts in the third ODI. Harshit dismissed Alex Carey and Mitchell Owen, whereas Sundar took the wickets of Matthew Short and well-set Matt Renshaw.
