IND vs AUS 4th T20I Weather Report: India will lock horns with Australia for the 4th T20I, which will be held at the Carrara Oval on Thursday. The visitors made a brilliant comeback after losing the second match in Melbourne and won the third match in Hobart. The ongoing series is currently leveled at 1-1, and that's why the 4th T20I has become really important for both teams.
The visitors were quite relieved with the way they fought back by making a few changes in their playing XI. Arshdeep Singh was finally included in the playing XI, replacing Harshit Rana, and he repaid the trust of the team management as he registered figures of 3/35. He was assisted well by Varun Chakaravarthy, who had taken two wickets as well.
The Australian batsmen like Tim David and Marcus Stoinis took these bowlers to the cleaners. They helped the host post a mammoth target of 186/6.
While chasing, the visitors had a flying start. Batters like Abhishek Sharma and skipper Suryakumar made significant contributions and kept the scorecard ticking, and then Washington Sundar left everyone stunned as he scored a match-winning knock of 49 runs off 23 balls. Jitesh Sharma too had scored an aggressive knock of 22 runs off 13 balls.
As far as the hosts are concerned, their bowlers were seen struggling in Josh Hazlewood's absence. They failed to restrict Washington when the team needed the most, where Nathan Ellis was the pick among the bowlers as he registered figures of 3/26.
